Montclair fire chief Kevin Allen confirmed to Baristanet that there is an underground fire, involving two manholes, on Church Street. They're waiting for PSE&G to cut power to the area in order to go in and fight the blaze.
One of the manholes is in front of the Siena construction site, and the other manhole is located underneath it.
Well... just got a call from my house... on Llewellyn Rd... and we are OUT OF POWER AGAIN.

No wonder the traffic was such a mess around Glenridge Ave. and Forest, N. Fullerton and Claremont, including no working traffic light.
I just saw on the news that they are evacutating people without electricity from Montclair using Decamp busses. Kind of a bad news/bad news situation.

i have left my apparment, due to there being no power but am wondering when to go back?
