Executive Chef Barry Bonser debuts his Autumn 2006 at Church Street Cafe tonight. Chef Bonser’s style of New American Regional cuisine has been forged over the stoves of many of Manhattan’s most illustrious restaurants, including The “21” Club, Chef & Company, Aja, American Renaissance, Bouley, Drover’s Tap Room, Home Restaurant, Osteria del Circo and Pitchoune.

The Autumn menu includes home-made parpadelle with pulled duck, pumpkin Pierogies, Guinness braised short ribs, chilies rellenos, cedar plank roasted salmon, Milwaukee fish fry, rack of lamb & lots more.

New lunch and dessert menus will follow in about a week.

Greg - that menu sounds wonderful. I think SWMBO (she who must be obeyed) and I will definitely be in to sample that menu in the next couple of weeks. Quack!

Sounds really great Greg!

I'm looking forward to trying the duck. Do NOT, however loose the MusselMania.

It's just too good and too good a deal.

You forgot to mention the big benefit concert at Egan's this Sunday, and the artists and jewelry show at Vintage Alley this evening and tomorrow ....

Greg,
Dale Marie's fav food is anything with pumpkin in the title...we'll see you again...soon.

Too afraid to dine there! Every time I ate there, I got sick. Coincidence?

Bon appetite, oh faithful gourmands! (Spelling may not be 100% accurate; get out your marking pens!)

Hi.. to all of those asking me - "Why didn't I video tape this event".

I met alot of people today, as I walked around town taping - I did a spot with Church Street Cafe, watching their new Chef ( Chef Barry ) prepare a great meal...and then I went over to Parlor Hair studio for an Opening Reception for Sherri Zuckerman ( photographs ).

In just that short walk from one place to another, I must have had five people asking me why I wasn't taping this great event..I said I had asked to do it, but was told there wasn't any budget to cover such things.

Just thought this might be a good way of letting alot of folks know that I thought it was a good idea too, but it wasn't in the cards.

ps. For some of you who might think it was a No go because it was me asking to do the taping..at first, before there was a question of helping out with my expenses ( which would have been about $ 15 per Gallery, or about $ 150 total ), I was told "it's a great idea".

But, everyone should go and visit these Galleries, and support Art in Montclair..I always try and do that myself.
