This SOS arrived in our mailbox today.
My name is Chris Kennedy, I'm a researcher working for The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.Regarding a project we're working on, I'm trying to locate Margaret & Lisa Cohen, who lived at 569 Park St., circa 1967-79.
Margaret attended Montclair High for a short time circa 1974 before transfering to Lacordaire Academy. Margaret was friends with Fiona Andrews.
Please let me know if you have any info, such as middle names of the girls or any leads as to where I can search for them.
So...tell us (and Chris) what you know....
Update from Chris, for all you inquiring minds:
The project we're working on concerns a missing, early rock & roll film from 1955 directed by Universal Newsreel director / producer Arthur Cohen. The film starred popular Cleveland DJ Bill Randle, Pat Boone, Bill Haley & The Comets, Elvis Presley, The Four Lads & Priscilla Wright.Various titles have been rumored such as "The Pied Piper of Cleveland," "A Day in the Life of a Famous DJ," "The Fabulous Pied Piper" and "Top Jock."
I've been investigating this film's disappearance for two years and have made some exciting discoveries.
Director Arthur Cohen, who passed away in 1968, was Margaret & Lisa's father. We'd like to contact Margaret and Lisa to ensure their father gets his proper recognition for his involvement in this important piece of music history.
Now, if you can help Chris, maybe he'll throw in a couple of free tickets for this.

One good bet is to contact Lacordaire and/or Montclair High and ask for someone who deals with alumni. Even if there isn't a formal alumni program in place like there is at universities, chances are good that somewhere there is a record of where one/both sisters went to college. In order to protect their graduates' privacy, alumni offices generally make the connection with the alum(s) rather than giving out whatever contact info they have on file.
He might also try going on sites like classmates.com or reunion.com (?) to see if he can find them or someone who knew them. Finally, hitting local sites like this is smart; he might also consider an ad in the Montclair Times.
Good luck!
