If it's May in Montclair, then it's time for the Spring Gallery Walk. Tomorrow, Montclair Arts Council is sponsoring a walking tour of 11 galleries, including The George Segal Gallery at MSU and The Montclair Art Museum. Wander through, and meet some of the artists whose work is on display - each gallery has a unique perspective on artists and their work.
If you missed Art in Bloom at the Montclair Art Museum last week, Gallery 51 will be featuring photographs of the exhibition and the artful interpretations by New Jersey's
most talented Floral Designers.
Pick up a map at any of the participating galleries or download it here. This Sunday, 12-5pm. Free.

It was a beautiful day to browse around the galleries & the Montclair Art Museum. In Philadelphia, they schedule art openings on the first Friday of the month where all galleries within the area have openings for their current exhibtions. I wish Montclair would have something like this, however, yesterday was fine. The Montclair Artist's Studio Tour, held in October, is great. It's always well attended and fun to walk right inside the doors of various Montclair's artist's houses and studios.
