To newlywed Sean and Susan McDonald: You don't have to buy a mansion. We don't want your American dream to turn into the American nightmare. We have some very nice houses for you right here. In fact, I've been inside the first house under "Montclair Real Estate for sale" and it's lovely.
Did somebody just wake up? Why is it that people don't know what they can and can't afford? Are we such a dumb society that we can't add, subtract, and multiply?
The housing market is getting worse! I was surprised to hear that the DC area is just as bad, and their unemployment rate is around 3.4% (pretty damn low). Homes are way too inflated and people are growing their brains back which is evident by their lack of interest in purchasing the first piece of shit that hits the market!
Let's hear it for brains!!! Let's hear it for Bottle King!!!

Not to be blasphemous, but Home Liquors in Verona and Total Wine in West Orange have better prices than Bottle King. I recommend the Cono Sur Carmenere for $7 at HL and the cab/merlot from Hedges at TW for $12. Both places discount on cases. I find Bottle King to be at least $1 more on every bottle.

These knuckleheads allowed themselves to be outed on network tv. Bottom line buy a starter house like the rest of us, wait for the market to move and then trade up. Otherwise rent....I have no sympathy. What is it with this sense of entitlement these days?

Is it news to anyone that any bank will lend you more than you can afford to buy a house? I guess it is, seeing as even the prime lending market is going to crap. At least this couple gave it some thought, good for them.
