Hey! Thanks for the plug!
I made some improvements which I feel good about...and more are on the way. For now, the blog will be a place to announce enhancements (but folks who are on the list will also get a notice from me when there are new features).
For folks who don't know about CleverCommute: people can use one e-mail address to alert many fellow commuters of delays and issues in the trip to-and-fro. In Montclair, we've been doing it for over a year...and there are hundreds of people involved. But, we only send each other mails when there is a problem with the commute (it's not "chatty").
There have been times when the list has been a big help...but we've also learned that people just like to know about problems.
Carriers like NJT (and LIRR) do a decent job with their e-mail alerts...but they've got limits and constraints...and we've got the wisdom of the crowds.
So for now, we've got an implementation that works pretty well...but I welcome your ideas for how to make it better.
Welcome aboard!
