He needs to get out more, for one thing, and I think it would be refreshing to see a marching band with leather jackets, chains and tatoos instead of the usual toy soldier costumes. Perhaps he can even work a few bikes into the half-time show, which would end, of course, in a brawl. Go team!

But, smartalecky marsupial boy (good taste prohibits me from wondering in public why he chose the sexually infantile agnomen of "walleroo"), my favorite composers are Brian Wilson, Chuck Berry, Arvo Part and Krysztof Penderecki; none are the stuff of high school bands. You don't "coax" such stuff out of teenagers, they either have it aplenty or they don't.
