If I were in Iowa today, I'd probably write in "walleroo" whichever party's ballot I chose.
Out of sheer disgruntlement, marsupial boy, hot admiration.
Wow,hot admiration, good typo!
A day without disgruntled, hot admiration is like a day without excited melancholia.
Well, I'm not surprised. Walleroo IS , after all, BADASS!
Eureka! Now I realize: walleroo is Ted Mattox.
It is all so clear to me now.
Hot admiration = gruntlement.
More seriously, I love the idea of an old-fashioned convention where nobody walks in simply to be coronated. It would be great for ties and uncertainty to continue for both entrenched parties. Perhaps it would cause them to change some behaviors. Maybe the inexplicable link-up of religious conservatism and economic conservatism can be extinguished. Maybe the nonsensical joining of more-lenient social attitudes with advocates of more government control can be neutralized.
Aaahh, a little daydream to start my morning.

A very sensible sentiment.
"What If They Held An Election, And Nobody Won?"
Oh, the World .. would be a better place,
Yes the World .. would be a better place,
For you, for me...
I take some solace from the fact that my typos are often funnier than others' posts.
And funny indeed it was. I don't know how I missed this thread all day. I hope the heat hasn't cooled.
