Wow, I'm pretty sure that school was cancelled when the weather wasn't this horrible. I guess the warming temperatures will mitigate some of the risk involved in venturing forth into the wild out-of-doors.
I will stay warm and snug at home surrounded by drowsy cats and the wafting sounds of RadioParadise.
I've got 4 kids sitting in my living room (only 1 of them is mine!) VERY disappointed that they have school!
MB - ever since you posted about RadioParadise that's all I stream at work - I love that station. Unfortunately, since listening to it I have spent a fortune on CD's!
Anne,
I love the mix. Sometimes Bill goes a little off the reservation.
Yesterday they played "Fresh Garbage" by Spirit. Man, did that ever bring me back - my apartment in East Orange with my younger brother, our jaws on the floor, listening to this wonder fusion of rock and jazz.
Have a nice day.
:)
Both my appointments last night were cancelled so I got to stay in and watch Westminster. A beagoyle won, I'm happy, he's a cutie.
Next year, the Labrador!
MM,
My wife once owned a Beagle - "Skippy". He'd tunnel under her family's back yard fence and scrounge the neigborhood garbage for pizza crusts and the like. An hour or two later he'd return with a saggy gut happy and repleat.
Once he launched himself at a pizza delivery man, straight through a glass door. I would have loved to see the expression on the pizza guys face when he realized that Skippy was coming through the glass to get him.
LOL, that's why I refer to them as Beagoyles!
Aaarrrggghhhh! I frickin' hate delayed openings. It's the worst of both worlds. Either give the kids the day off, or take'em for a whole day.
Loved the new breed, Tibetan Mastiff - what a sweet face. I only watch the Working Dogs.
Working Dogs and Sporting Dogs are my faves and yes, I love some of the new breeds. My least fave group is Toy.
The "snack" breed. I love how 90% of the working dogs are asleep on the side waiting for their turn.

@Anne Prince
I love me some RP, too-- and have also spent a bundle on music-- though I buy I-Tunes, so just a buck a song....
it's a great site for a 40-something mom to get back into music after that whole triage period of having babies/preschoolers, etc. when you have no chance of any grownup tunes.
