ASSOCIATED PEEP (APEEP) March 23, 2008--An organization has been formed today with the sole purpose of stopping nationwide Peep abuse, according to its founder Calvin "Chicky" Jones. Calling itself Peeple for the Ethical Treatment of Peeps, the group hopes to draw attention to this growing problem.

"Based on the number of web sites devoted to horrifying experiments performed on innocent Peeps under the guise of scientific research, we feel it's time to think outside of the box and hatch a strategic plan to counteract the abuse," Jones said, citing such experiments as exposing Peeps to extreme temperatures, pressurized containers, and exposure to toxic chemicals. In one such experiment, about a dozen of the marshmallow treats were locked in a freezer and told by a researcher, "I don't want to hear a peep out of you!"

On today's Easter holiday, Jones urges parents to educate children about the proper treatment of Peeps. "After Easter, streets are littered with beheaded and decaying Peep carcasses." he said. "It makes me ashamed of being an American."

All in fun, of course! Happy Easter to the Baristas and everyone who celebrates!

Because we do. (But like every dysfunctional family, we have our special ways of showing da love).

And cheers to the Barista chicks (...) for bringing us all together!!

Happy Easter Barista Bunnies and All Y'all. This really is my favorite place in all the worldwide interwebs.

I don't believe in much but i do like holidays. I have already had a quarter of a chocolate bunny, several deviled easter eggs, a really big, pork-tastic lunch-hour "dinner," and a 2-hour nap.

Happy Easter to all, and especially to the Barista Chicks (and Tom) who make this all possible. For once, I'm not going to say anything obnoxious, rude or random. Just: thanks.

I see the new purple peep bunnies made the montage, but no blue peeps. Why ne blue peeps?

My peeps (original yellow - peeps - not bunnies) are good and stale and ready for consumption.
