Very lovely, Fran. Nothing from my garden yet, sorry to say. I thinks it's because we live near a lake and get the cold breezes off of it. Cannot wait, though. Winter just doesn't want to let go this year.
i know what you mean. i get a lot of morning sun in the front of my house. across the street, they are in shade. plants on my side of the street start to flower a week or two earlier than our neighbors! i didn't know that when i bought this house, but it turned out to be a great perk for a gardener.
quick!!!!! everyone run over to the flickr site and check out the coolest amaryllis shot ever!!! hurry!
in case you're wondering what that is:
some graceful pink andromeda florets are drooping against some dried magnolia leaves and blossoms of crocus and hellebore--all from my garden except for the dried magnolia leaves.
