How much does excellence in sports impact, say, college admissions? And sometimes you gotta ask who's the bigger jock - the child or the parent?

Bringing sports savvy to the evening is Tom Farrey, senior writer at ESPN and author of "Game On: The All-American Race to Make Champions of Our Children." Joining Tom, from Baristaville, are panelists Shaun Powell, Ted Fiore, and Nancy Star.
Powell, sports commentator and columnist at Newsday, recently authored "Souled Out? How Blacks Are Winning and Losing In Sports." Star, former movie exec who recently penned "Carpool Diem" has spent many Sundays at her daughters' soccer games, but swears she never once yelled, "Attack", "Get her", or "Kill them." Ted Fiore has been coaching basketball at Montclair State since 1999. He's also coached St. Peter’s College and as a father of five, coached high school baseball and basketball.
