Aside from all this fun, going OT, did anyone else see this in the news?
That Oldsmobile crap has to be a joke. C'mon. Let them die, like the Buicks.
I heard actually that it was true. (BTW, Buicks are alive & well).
Somehow, I hate to see a Japanese name affixted to the first car (Oldsmobile) made in America. (Yes, Olds was first, Ford got the credit as first to market.)
But, it really does not make sence, as Toyota prices are now into its top brand, Lexus. A loaded Toyo Avalon Limited is more than many Lexi. Likewise a loaded Nissan Maxima Limited is well into Infiniti pricing.
NOPE !! Checked it out, it's Car & Driver's annual April fools issue!
Scary piece to see the
pea wearing a sombrero, in a circle, on an Oldsmobile.
No words were mangled during this campaign!
