Let's all quit out jobs and become professional jurors. Things just keep getting better and better. First there was the waiting room revamp. And now this, from the Star Ledger...
On Friday, county officials unveiled three new grand jury rooms, which were designed with input from court staff to make them more appealing and functional. The rooms have rows of chairs laid out in three tiers so jurors can better see witnesses and speakers. The rooms have new carpeting and air conditioning, a flat-screen television for watching taped evidence and enhanced acoustics.Besides the grand jury rooms, the space includes a waiting area for witnesses, private interview rooms, office space for courthouse staff, a locked vault for storage, a break room, new bathrooms, and a conference room.
"Our goal is to make sure you're comfortable," said Freeholder President Blonnie Watson.
Patricia Costello, superior court assignment judge, said she's already received calls from other assignment judges around the state who are envious of the upgrades going on at the county courthouse complex.

The only people who would knock this improvement are those who has never had the...pleasure?...of serving on a lengthy jury trial.
