It's BYOT (Bring Your Own Tequila...or Coronas), at the Cinco de Mayo fun-raiser celebrating Renaissance School's 10th year anniversary. Get a group of friends together for a south of the border adults-night-out (anyone up for some shots of Patron?). Mexican food, music and salsa dancing lessons, are the big draw at this fiesta, taking place Sharon Miller Dance Academy, 14 South Park Street.
Don't be confused though, this party is May 10, that's May 5+5 for double the fun, 7-10 pm. Enjoy live music by Eva Goldfarb and Rob Maskin, followed by a professional Salsa dance demonstration and lessons from this couple - then take it away on the dance floor. Dancing With The Stars, look out.
The whole enchilada costs $35/person including Mexican dinner, courtesy of Whole Foods/Montclair and Tinga Taqueria, non-alcoholic beverages and mixers. After the mexican fandango, dance to DJ Barry Schwartz's spin.
Not your typical school fundraiser...no live auction, no raffle baskets, just GOOD friends, GREAT food, and Fun dance music! For tickets...
RSVP early to strawberry.mac@verizon.net with credit card information, they're expecting a sell-out. If you're in byby April 21 you could win a $100 gift certificate to Egan & Sons Restaurant. Tickets, also available at the door. Proceeds benefit Renaissance Middle School programs and teacher wish lists.
