...create an account if you don't already have one(that's pretty easy too) by just following the prompts. Katie M., one of our group administrators, has posted some pretty clear directions, and the site itself has lots of clear directions. In a nutshell, though, on the menu bar, click on the item that says "You." The pull down menu includes "upload photos and videos." Click on that, and you'll see an option on the page that says ""pssst.....looking for our easy, free uploader?" click on that. Follow the simple prompts to upload your images. When they are uploaded, you will have an opportunity to put "tags" (short descriptive words) on them. The more tags you put on, the better. Always include Baristanet, of course, and then any other descriptors (i.e., springtime, pets, close ups of flowers, etc.) Once your photos are uploaded, if you click on them to view them larger, you will have menu options that let you send the photo to the group (Baristanet), and menu options that let you send your photo to a set. (In this case, Spring Fantasy, but there are others as well.)
It sounds more fussy than it is. I'm also no whiz at meticulously writing out instructions that are clear and easy to follow, so I welcome further suggestions from the Baristanet poster community at large.

If you already have a Yahoo ID from registering anyplace else in the Yahoo world, you can use that to register with Flickr. Just click on "Sign In" in the upper right corner of the screen that you get if you're a non-Flickr member. The instructions from then on are pretty easy.
You can use your existing Yahoo ID, or create a new name, for your Flickr registration. (I've had to register in Flickr as "TheRealCrank" since "crank," "crank1" & "crank2" were already taken & "crank3" held no appeal.
So, I'm in, & to commemorate the occasion I've posted my photographic interpretation of Walleroo's Spring fantasy. (Don't worry, it's clean, if just a bit saucy.)
