If you were out on the Garden State Parkway early tonight and saw a bunch of cars stranded by the side of the road, you might have wondered what was happening. Turns out that they'd fueled up at the Lukoil station at the Brookdale rest stop, just north of the Montclair/Nutley exit, and gotten some contaminated gasoline.
A delivery of bad gas [insert your McDonald's joke here] stranded dozens of drivers, according to the WNBC and other news sources.
Lukoil took responsibility for the bad gas and promises to reimburse drivers for any car damage.
