The Mysteries of Brookdale

Wednesday, April 23, 2008

mysteriousnote.jpg
The only thing we know for sure about this note pinned to a fallen tree in Brookdale Park is that Joey DiVincenzo didn't put it there. After all, it doesn't have his name on it. But what it means, and who took the trouble to staple it on, remains a mystery. The only clue is that it's signed "J".

A close-up of the note is in the jump.

It should have been signed "Lorax"

I LOVE this!
And no, I have no clue as to who did it.

The real Mystery of Brookdale is how Green Acres (or whatever) spent over $1 million last year and the park is a mess.

Art?

My son just had an assignment for a 3D art class at MSU to make art out of "found objects" (or garbage). Could be something along those lines...

I'm stumped.

The slow news month keeps on rolling!

(Perhaps it's also a simple cipher of some sort for "Vote walleroo in 2008!")

The note was planted there by someone who knew it would end up on Baristanet so cathar could say something about it being a slow news day/month.

you said it becky!

I thought we would actually discuss real mysteries of Brookdale Park - like why they dried up the pond and left the divet and aren't using the space anyway. Or, why we can't park in the streets when there is not enough parking in the lots?

Becky, I'm with you on this. I loved this park. It was really a jem not that long ago. Now, it's just a mere shadow of it's former glory. BTW Watch out for those deplorable potholes too!

ackme-
My thoughts on the pond: Geese. And it took a long time before you could walk on the soft ground. My dog still gets muddy paws running through it.
