How I wish it were Johnny Depp...Costumed pirates, swashbuckling sword fights and a treasure hunt are all part of the fun going on today during The Great Pirate Invasion at the grand Kip’s Castle.
Essex County Executive Joe DiVincenzo and his motley crew invite the public to attend this dubloon-free event today. Kids will want to join in pirate-themed sing-a-long, visit the arts and crafts table and souvenir shop.
Noon to 4pm, Essex County Kip’s Castle Park, 22 Crestmont Road, Verona/Montclair.
Get in the mood, and come in costume. Watch for the pirate invasion at 1 pm.
