Firth Haring Fabend will be speaking on her new (and ninth) book, an historical novel, Land So Fair, at the Montclair Public Library, tonight, 7 p.m. Land So Fair takes place in New York and New Jersey in the eighteenth century, with flashbacks to the Dutch colony of New Netherland (before the English took over).
Her topic will be: Using Facts to Create Fiction and Making Fiction Appear To Be Fact. Children and teens are welcome. Books will be available for sale and signing; light refreshments served.
