Gov. Corzine Wants To Talk To You

Thursday, May 22, 2008

Calling Carl Begmanson. Tonight's a live call-in show where you can ask Gov. Corzine anything (or so they say).

Join us TONIGHT at 8 pm for another edition of Corzine on the Line, a live one-hour call-in show featuring New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine with Emmy Award-winning anchor Steve Adubato.

Send him a question here. Or just tell us in comments what you would ask him if you were to call.

And if there's something you wish to say to the next president, go here.

Bland on bland here.

But I'd ask Corzine to discuss the role of party political bosses in New Jersey in detail, and in particular how his large majority last time in the North Ward of Newark proved so useful to his gubernatorial victory. How the governor, or even his skedded ibterviewer for that matter, even given some thought to reform of this system which allows for the election of hack after party hack in NJ?

And also, perhaps, the point that Andrews is raising lately, the issue of age that Frank Lautenberg once used against Millicent Fenwick but is now up in arms about when Andrews is doing basically the same thing.

I'm voting for Cresitello. It is time for Lautenberg to pass the torch, and Andrews is too deep inside Norcross' pocket.

The other night, while we were preparing dinner (ALWAYS when we're preparing or eating dinner!) our doorbell rings and it's a man canvassing for Lautenberg. I usually just say, "No thanks" and send these folks on their merry way but DF got there before I did and said, "There's no way I'd vote for him!" A little overkill but I'll betcha we don't get canvassed by the Lautenberg camp any more.

No mention on this site about former Montclair mayor Bob Russo's run for Essex Co. freeholder.

Liz,

While I appreciate the plug, I?d say that after 2+ disastrous years with Jon Corzine as Governor, any questions about him have already been answered.

Between bearded wonders, I have a hard time finding which one I hate more: Corzine or Alvarez.

Both must go!!!

(And when Obambi wins, Corzine will have made one more dumb political decision: to backing Hillary. Loser!)
