The first two minutes play like 'How to be a stalker'. Sticking the camera in the faces of people who are clearly not ready or interested in being filmed does not make for interesting or engaging journalism.
This is terrible.
And hilarious.
Ed Remsen is about the least charismatic human being I've ever seen who actually wanted to be in public office. Love the awkward and half-assed moments with him and Joyce M. Aren't these people politicians?! Can't they fake it better?!
There were are few time that I thought this was going to turn into a "Montclair Girls Gone Wild" video.
"So whaddaya think about the election?"
"I really think this is a great time for Montclair. We're going to change a lot of things for the better"
"Cool. Hey it would be really crazy if you flashed your..."
Wow, painful.
And I thought I was dizzy watching Cloverfield??
If you liked this.......
coming up next is a video of trash collecting on grove street
Awww. I don't get out to these affairs, so I enjoyed watching. It was a little stroll through a few minutes of a special local moment, with just plain folks.
By pure lucky coincidence, I had the fun of meeting and enjoying a friendly street chat with the mayor-elect this afternoon. And, I feel as pleased and hopeful as I did last night!
Jeez, they could have thrown a nicer partay for the Mayor-elect, dontcha think? If you tell me there were Styrofoam cups there, I'll scream.
You got that right, Montclair Mom. I cringe when I see them. Weren't they supposed to be phased out years ago?
Sorry, I held on past the second time, but I had to turn it off the third time he said "Viva La Revolucion".
It's not a frickin' revolution.
It's the opposite.
Nice vid. It's asking too much of Michaelson and Remsen to appear to be happy about the results; I thought they were gracious. The best thing was seeing who was at the party--the people behind the scenes who'll now be showing up on the BOE.
(I hope the films at tonight's MSU Film Screening are edited better than this mess. If this is citizen journalism, I miss the pros....... And really, there's Remsen and no smart ass questions for him?)
Makes me look forward to the well written piece in the Montclair Times.....
