Montclair Police Department raided a local massage parlor, Xhale Day Spa, at 127 Pine Street, arresting owner Junia Rodriguez, 30, of Newark, and employee Chelia Tavarez, 27, of Paterson, on charges of prostitution.
Chief of Police David Sabagh says an anonymous tip led them to Exhale Day Spa, and an undercover sting. The Montclair Times reports a detective booked a one hour massage last week, paid the $60 fee. The masseuse offered the detective some extra special services: "Tavarez escorted him to one of the several back rooms and during the massage, asked if he wanted her to perform sex acts on him for an additional fee, according to police."
The detective declined and left the spa...
When he returned an hour later with a search warrant and a Vice Control team, they found Tavarez naked, with a customer, and a condom on the floor.
The owner claims her business is on the up and up. Police told the Montclair Times the owner says it's all a misunderstanding. It was Tavarez's first day of work, and she was acting without the owner's authorization.
From The Montclair Times:
Following last week's raid, she (Rodriguez) was charged with promoting prostitution, while Tavarez was charged with engaging in prostitution.Officers seized documents with customer's names...and $523 in cash, police said.

It took an anonymous tip to lead them there? This place is the worst kept secret in town. They've been advertising on craigslist for years. And their website isn't exactly hiding the fact that they specialize in happy endings:
