Bloomfield Traffic Alert

A tipster writes: "Bloomfield Ave is closed in Bloomfield around Willie's Diner -- All traffic headed east is diverted at Hillside in Glen Ridge. Don't know why or how far down it goes. Avoid it if you can."

It's basically blocked from that parking lot next to the Bank of America ATM over to that gas station right across the street from the ATM.

I stopped in Starbucks this morning, apparently a little girl of 14 was crossing the street with her sisters, 15 and 17 and an Elderly couple coming from the Bloomfield side struck her.

I don't have any info on if anyone was killed, but I know she was hit hard enough to need some prayers shot her way.

What happened was a bad batch of chili at Willi's made it necessary for police to divert traffic due to poor air quality in the vicinity...

I hope that she's not seriously injured. I'll say some prayers.

Last night at around 6pm, I came upon someone being put into an ambulance at the intersection of James and JFK Drive. Any info on that accident?
