This weekend, folks will be banding together at numerous events around Montclair to fight autism.
Kicking the weekend off with reggae and ska, Brit pop and indie music, is a benefit tomorrow (Friday) night at Tierney's Tavern, from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tickets ($30) are on sale at London Food Company; or for $40 at the door.
On Saturday, at Luna Stage, 8 p.m., it's British humor from author and commedienne Alison Larkin, who reads excerpts from her best selling novel, The English American. Live music, complimentary wine hors d'oeuvres and a book signing with Alison Larkin; also, a live auction featuring artwork by children from Spectra Academy. $40 at the door.
Then, on Sunday, at 4 p.m., it's a battle of the Brits vs. the Americans, to see who can claim soccer domination, at Ashley's Soccer Domain. Families welcome. For information on all these events, call 973-820-5795; the full event list is here.
