Talk about your rude awakenings. A woman on Douglas Road in Glen Ridge woke up to find she had a naked house guest making himself at home in a bedroom on her second floor. From the Star Ledger...
The woman screamed after spotting the man Tuesday and ran to a nearby home to call 911. When officers arrived at the Douglas Road residence, they found Joseph R. Miller, 30, of Montclair in the yard by the back door, police said. They said Miller was wearing a blanket."He was naked underneath," Lt. Paul Bruno said.
The homeowner, police said, had apparently left a door ajar to give a sick dog access to the yard. A noise awakened her about 3:30 a.m., but she went back to sleep. Some two hours later, the woman spotted the intruder on the second floor.
"He was walking by," Bruno said. "I guess he used the bath room."

Sounds like the poor guy took a bit too much Ambien.
Nice way to sneak in a reference to the old pulp, group-wrutten novel there, Liz.
Did you forget to use articles in this article?
"A woman on Douglas Road in Glen Ridge woke up to find she had naked house guest making himself at home in bedroom"
How about " 'A' naked house guest...in 'A' bedroom."
Can you imagine the headlines if the home owner had shot and killed the intruder with a registered hand gun!
What planet is this home owner living on leaving the door open?! There are home- less people wandering the streets in Montclair, Bloomfield and most likely Glen Ridge.
Not to mention Zombies from Mars.
Articles are in, the post was naked without them -- sorry!
My neighbor in G.R. leaves her garage door open all day -- and it ain't empty. I can see a nice score for a thief in her future.
NNN9495 - I could use a few gardening implements - what's the address of your neighbor?
lol Liz.
along w/eating 3 bean salad, he decided to turn the AC off. one thing led to another and--Helloooo, neighbor!
Dad?
Douglas Rd is on the border of Montclair. As a former resident of the street, Id have to say that my delussional neighbor was a little naive to leave a door not only unlocked, but open!
