Calling all cowboys: You'll want to set aside a few hours next Tuesday night for this. Montclair Art Museum is hosting a screening of "The Lone Ranger." Released in 1956, the film is actually three episodes of the television series ("Enter the Lone Ranger," "The Ranger Fights On," and "The Lone Ranger's Triumph") which fit together into a cohesive narrative, the museum tells us.
So bring a blanket or maybe some lawn chairs (but leave your horse at home) and join your neighbors on MAM's front lawn. The film begins at sundown -- probably around 8:30pm -- and free popcorn is provided.

Love that Butch Cavendish gang!
(In the last movie version, the one with the beautifully named Klinton Spilsbury as the Ranger and Michael Horse as Tonto, Butch turned out to be formerly "Major" Cavendish, and was a cashiered Army officer out to avenge himself on U.S. Grant.)
LONE RANGER: "Tonto! How long is that movie?"
(TONTO sifts the ashes of the campfire through his fingers)
TONTO: "Two, maybe three, hours, Kemosabe."
