Strahan Singing Show Me The Money

Monday, August 25, 2008

Michael Strahan is vacationing in Greece (sigh!), but for eight million and some sincerity, he'll come back and play football. Will it happen? From the New York Daily News...

According to a source close to the future Hall of Famer, all it would take to get the 37-year-old Strahan to end his 77-day retirement would be $8 million and a few kind words. If the Giants made a "sincere" effort to lure him back, the source said, it was "not out of the question" that Strahan could opt out of his contract with Fox and be wearing his old No. 92 jersey when Giants begin their Super Bowl title defense at Giants Stadium on Sept. 4.

Isn't it a torn meniscus? How would one tear their mellifluous?

If you've ever read any of Cathar's posts then you can understand how it's possible to tear, and permanently damage, one's mellifluous.

So, Strahan strained his sincerity?

Posted by Spot The Looney | August 25, 2008 12:23 PM

meliflous tear be the worst can happen to big fast mean dudes.

He don't need no more money. We was at the [sic] Estate Sale a couple weeks back and -- trust me -- he spent no money at all on the house or the contents. Mostly trash, it was, ask me.

Sincerity? You mean like the sincerity he never gave his wife and children.
I don't car how good he is. Can't he just disappeear?

Strahan has a contract with Fox? Will he be covering the Republican Convention with his melliflous delivery?

@Conan-

You were obviously at the most recent sale. Strahan hasnt lived there in a while, and the sale that you went to was for kitchenware that has been burned from neglect (ie: When Jean left the Espresso percolator on and left it to tarnish the sides, which I picked up for $3 and it works fine) Besides the kitchen crap, this sale was for the children. Their old toys, costumes, etc. You missed their Estate Sale, although it wasnt in the papers, and I guess Baristanet didnt cover it. You had the opportunity to buy everything from wall sconces to their plasma TVs.
Now that you're in the know, you can get your head out of the dumpster and garage sale section of the Ledger, and continue using blatant racial dialogue: "He don't need no more money. We was at..." You make me [sic]

The plangent tones of your own mental and verbal emptiness, jerseygurl, obscure any melodiousness I might otherwise offer here.

Learn to think before you spell, there's the ticket. But hey, you at least did use two "l's" in mellifluous. I knew I preferred your posts to laserboy's for a reason.

This item, however, is clear evidence of a very slow news day.

I'm with Conan on this one. I went to the estate sale and was not impressed with the merch. I mean, no offense, but the dresses on the rack looked as if they came from a K-Mart clearance rack.

K-Mart was one of the ex's favorite stores to shop. As for "sincerity", cubbybear, you must be the only person in her corner. She tried to fry his ass and had no regard for the children while doing it. When they get older they get to read the garbage she (and her only friend) put in the press. She should be the one to disappear!

All right, I don't have 8 mill but I hereby offer one slice of pizza from Brick Oven and a kiddie sized ice cream from Cold Stone. Oh, and here are the kind words: nobody is badder than you, Mr. Strahan, so please please pretty please come back?

Now how can we convince Bret Farve to move to Montclair?

"Now how can we convince Bret Farve to move to Montclair?"

By spelling his name right, FAVRE.
