Crime is everywhere these days. Even in St. Luke's Church on South Fullerton St. in Montclair, where the victim of a Blackberry theft on Sunday was ... giving a sermon. From this week's police blotter:
Mr. ___ said that as he was giving a sermon in the church, which ran from 1000 hours to 1100 hours, an unknown actor/s entered the church's vesting room and stole his Blackberry Pearl 8100 phone valued at $200. The vesting room as unlocked at the time of the theft. The phone was located in a coat which was hanging in the closet. There are sevearl entry/exit points into the church during the time services are held.
The thief left a nice clue. Three calls were made to Haiti before Mr. ____ canceled his phone service.

Wow.... that's a long sermon. hehe
OMG..He was calling the Baun in Bag Gum guy.
And he called sevearl times!
Sounds like the thief/s already knew the blackberry was in his caot in the closet....inside job
Maybe he's Baun in Bag's identical twin..when the sermon was dragging on and on, he said "Plase Houry or I'll Shouth."
Oh Nellie...you beat me to it.
Publish the phone number so we all can call it and ask that person to implore his friend to return the stolen item.
The guy thought he was at the church where he could get gas for 99 cents. When he realized his mistake after listening to an hour-long sermon, he decided he deserved something for his time, so took the Blackberry.
So after only .001% of the sermon he was bored? I think he was looking for a gum to shoot himself after the first 500 hours.
Since when did the police blotter start using military time?
Good question, Banana..So posted by Nellie at 13:28 pm o'clock.
