Congratulations, Deputy Terry. Thank you for all that you do!
35 years..Congratulations!
That's terrific. Dedication Plus!
The 35 years heading reminded me of this; 135 days piece:
You couldn't get a job at McDonalds and
become district manager after 143 days of experience.
You couldn't become chief of surgery
after 143 days of experience of being a surgeon.
You couldn't get a job as a teacher and
be the superintendent after 143 days of experience.
You couldn't join the military and become
a second lieutenant after a 143 days of experience.
You couldn't get a job as a reporter and
become the nightly news anchor or editor after 143 days of
experience.
BUT....
'From the time Barack Obama was sworn in
as a United States Senator, to the time he announced he was
forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143
days of experience in the Senate. That's how many days
the Senate was actually in session and working. After 143
days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be
Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World .... 143 days.
Most voters have logged more than 143 days on
the toliet!
But, strangely, a large sector of the
American public is okay with his limited experience and
campaigning for him. We wouldn't accept this in our own
line of work, yet some are okay with this for the President
of the United States of America ? Come on folks, we are not
voting for the next American Idol!
What a surprise! We're digressing into the McCain-Nobama debate again.
Geez, Sandy, that was really annoying.
Annoying and irrelevant to the topic.
Kudos, Deputy Terry!
Speaking of years of service, the oldest known Rutgers alum died this past weekend--he was a month shy of his 112th birthday!
Wow! I wonder if he was the oldest person in the country.
No, there's a 115 yo woman still alive.
They couldn't find a place to celebrate service to Montclair in Montclair?
Congratulations Deputy Chief Terry! Enjoy your celebration. You've worked hard and deserve it!
true overthinking,
they might have considered the Montclair Golf Club...oops that's in West Orange and Verona with a PO Montclair Box for the bill.....or the Upper Montclair Country Club...but oops again...that's in Clifton and I don't know where their bill goes.....what venue in Montclair would have been able to handle a large affair?....still thinking!!!!
Sandy, it was really obnoxious of you to use this post to rant your political views...why dont you try to stick to the topic next time?
Sandy needs a life, in a hurry.
Congratulations Roger Terry. You are a true Mountie!
Sandy's post took the attention away from the man who deserved the attetion in this thread.
Stella,
If they had trouble booking at the Marlboro Inn, they could have tried the Loft.
