They pretended to be white knights, ready to save strapped homeowners, many of the elderly and widowed, from having banks foreclose on their houses. Then they ran away with the titles to the victims' homes.
That's the accusation from New Jersey's attorney general, who filed fraud and racketeering lawsuits yesterday against two firms, one of them -- JP Global Property Management -- in Bloomfield.

No surprises here. People like this always come out of the woodwork during a calamity. Glad they were caught, though.
Please be advised that these low lifes simply rented space at 2 Broad St. They all live in places like Franklin Lakes, Englewood, Ridgewood, Cliffside Park and Washington Township. Not one from Bloomfield.
