New Jersey Tops Tri-State Area In Cyber-Speed

Tuesday, December 2, 2008

Another day, another survey.From NJ.com:

New Jersey has the fourth fastest average Internet service in the nation, just ahead of New York and Connecticut, according to a survey by PCmag.com.

To uncover the nation's best Internet service providers, the magazine said it used SurfSpeed, a utility that grabs pages from several popular Web sites to measure Internet speed. The survey looked through data from more than 17,000 profiles.

Nevada came in No. 1 at 781 kilobytes per second. New Jersey's average speed was 727. The slowest in the nation was New Mexico at 322.

...Interesting that two desert-like states take first and last place. How's your internet service going?

The Slowskys will be so disappointed.

Still waiting for FiOS in Verona ...

Comcast is my service provider. No complaints with the speed of the service. My biggest complaint is the cost.

This is related to the article on the meth bust how?
