Family Service League offers counseling for families, couples, individuals and children. No one is turned away for financial reasons; offices are in Montclair and Bloomfield. For more information, call 973-746-0800.
COPE Center in Montclair focus on affordable behavioral health services; counselors work in the areas of drug and alcohol abuse, family crises, problems in daily living, and AIDS.
If you prefer to go outside the area, the Clinic of the New Jersey Institute for Training in Psychoanalysis has been offering treatment for individuals, couples and families at modest, often nominal fees for more than 30 years. For an appointment, call 201-836-1065.
North Jersey Consultation Center (NJCC) has been working in Essex County for more than 20 years. No applicant has ever been turned away because of diagnosis or finances. Therapists are available to work with individuals, adults, couples, children, groups for as long as needed without reference to insurance or managed care.
