Mother Nature has sprung a bit of Spring weather on us today, with temperatures expected to reach 61F degrees. That’s warm enough to warrant a dash to the shore. Get outside and warm up before the mercury drops again, and tell us how you’re going to enjoy this welcome reprieve from recent arctic blasts.

This is all nice and good but don’t peek at Sunday’s weather if you don’t want to be bummed out.

The weathermen on television have been telling me all week that we’re going to have a crappy weekend with a wintery mix. I like this prediction a little better.

I have a 1/2 marathon Sunday. PLEASE, no precip!

    Mrs. Martta,
Sorry. Sunday forecast calls for snow starting around 3 am. Wind chill of 20 degrees at 8 am. Snow continues throughout the day. As they say, in like a lion. As least you won’t be sweating.

This article says to go outside in the warmth, and tell us about it. Instead you talk about how cold it will be on Sunday, as if you are going to stay under the covers on From today till Monday. Go. Out. Side

Enjoy today, but don’t go to the Shore: offshore wind is keeping the temps in the 40s.

Perfect weather for us this weekend: Grown daughter is visiting and wants first dibs on the sofa by the fireplace. This is a room with 14 windows, so you can enjoy the warmth and coziness of the fire, yet be one with the outdoors. Good timing on her part!

As a practitioner of Delusional Immersion, I plan to put on a pair of shorts and a sweatshirt, hit the street, and stridently pretend that winter is gone.
My errands include a trip to the main Post Office on Glen Ridge where I can stand in line for an hour or more, talking with my fellow villagers about the weather!

My friend just bought a new Jeep Liberty. He is praying for snow to try it out. Deep Snow, he says….

Sandy’s friend is to be held responsible for the Great White Blow coming our way!
And yesterday did NOT hit 61 degrees, sad to say. I did alight wearing the previously mentioned shorts and immediately returned to the apartment for warmer costuming.
Is there a Spring Festival once the cold goes away?

I would love to see Santorum get the nod. Maybe then the politically comatose members of society will wake up.
