Outside of Diva Lounge, a shrine for Javier Barros. The 24-year-old Jersey city man was a victim of a hit and run last week.

    Diva Lounge was recently painted a mustard yellow. Is this Shrine taken down already? How long do shrines last?

    The littleprof and I walked by it on Sunday.
    Very sad.
    And still, folks drive like maniacs around here. So much so I’m surprised this doesn’t happen more often.

    I agree, Prof–and I think a lot of people around here need to take some anger management classes in order to improve their driving safety.
    This is so sad. Anyone know if they’ve made progress on finding the driver who killed him?
