Have You Lost Your Dog?

UPDATE: The dog has been reunited with its family.
Journalism schmournalism. It’s really all about reuniting lost pets with their rightful owners. Here’s today’s:

This dog was found at 1:10 am on Tuesday, March 31st on the corner of Claremont Ave and Upper Mountain Ave in Montclair, NJ. He was walking on the street with an undetermined path. He has a green collar, but no leash or identification tags. The dog appears to be either a beagle or basset hound. He has some unique markings as visible in the photographs. He’s very friendly and sounds to have some congestion.

If you know this fellow, write to brent@petfinder.com.

Looks like a nice dog. Hope he finds his owner.
Speaking of animals, wasn’t the new shelter supposed to open April 1?
    Guess it’s “April Fool.”

    Poor pup.
My advice- if someone comes to claim this little guy, which hopefully will be the case, have them list some identifying features NOT obvious from the photo. This should help to prevent just anyone from scooping up a free dog. Unfortunately, there are plenty of Michael Vicks out there.

Awwww, what a sweetie! More of a beagle than a basset if you ask me. Looks like an older doggie, too. I hope he and his owner are reunited soon.

Yes, I agree, a beagle. Don’t forget to check if he’s been micro chipped.

And he was walking “with an undetermined path,” no less! T’is pity the poor canine can’t speak, to at least tell folks where he lives and what path he’s set himself out on, no?
Okay, journalism schmournalism, but I still think linguistic clarity is an especially desirable path in both newspapers and blogs.

Definitely a beagle! He should be scanned to see if he has been microchipped.

Too bad Montclair has no shelter. I thought that their plans were to use other shelters until theirs opened. I guess it’s cheaper to let volunteers foster the animals.
    Yes he’s a beagle!

Well, they’re supposed to have a sheleter as of tomorrow.
Haven’t seen any “Grand Opening” notices.

I would love to see Santorum get the nod. Maybe then the politically comatose members of society will wake up.
