NJ Swine Flu Cases Confirmed

The five probable cases of swine flu in NJ are the real deal. No information yet regarding areas where the cases were reported.
UPDATE: Cases have been identified in Bergen, Burlington and Monmouth counties.

    It’s swine flu, ackme, not pig flu. Pigs, you know, are very sensitive and intelligent animals who also happen to be great patrons of the arts. And you wouldn’t want to offend any anonymous posters here who belong in that group.
    I saw a guy wearing a mask on the train today. I had an overpowering urge to walk up to him and say, “Achoo!”

    I heard on the news that all 5 were mild cases and that people were not hospitalized.

    Maybe now that Justice Souter is stepping down, perhaps we have a new story to replace swine fly in the news cycle and this all this hysteria will simply take wing and disappear.
