Left to right: Mama Mia, Bjorn, Benny & Frida
Mama Mia is three years old and and has spent her entire life on the streets of Union City. She was living in an alley behind a bar, had at least six or seven litters of kittens. The bar owner fed her, but kept her outside and gave all her kittens to his customers.
Danny Heaps, owner of Iggy's in Montclair, rescued Mama and her remaining kittens - six-month-old white haired Bjorn, and six-week-old kittens, Benny and Frida. These friendly furr-balls are healthy, and Mama is spayed. If you've got a place in your home for Mama, Bjorn, Benny or Friday, stop by Iggy's at 542 Valley Road in Montclair, or call him at 973-707-5134.
Another way you can help our four-legged friends to stop by a HUGE Yard Sale benefiting Orphaned Pets. Orphaned Pets is a non profit all-volunteer animal rescue group - all proceeds of the sale will pay for care of pets rescued from over-crowded shelters. Tomorrow, Sunday, 9am-2pm at 330 Park Street, Montclair (corner of Park and Wildwood).

I'm trying to help my friend find a home for the sweetest dog in the world, a male beagle, 7 1/2 years old, who needs a loving home. He's been living in an apartment for the last 5 years so he's used to being home and quiet during the day. I would take him myself but one of my two cats is not dog friendly at all (we tried).Bailey's owner is moving to an apartment in Montclair that doesn't accept pets. Bailey is
quiet and gentle. He's never howled in his entire life.
If you can take Bailey home, contact Mary here: mmcgee@mapfre.com.

Mama Mia, Bjorn, Benny & Frida?
Those poor cats, subjected to ABBA cruelty! I hope whomever gets the kittens renames them Led & Zeppelin. Got to make up for lost time.
That two-headed kitten is pretty unique!
What a shame. There are plenty of apartments in Montclair that allow pets. Why choose one that doesn't?
Found a new place...sorry pooch, my future doesn't include you...
that's just how it is...aw, don't look at me like that, you knew that's
how it was from the get go. No strings...i'm a loner, don't want
no baggage.. you'll manage... you're only a dog, anyway.
I hope this dog finds a home with someone who understands that an animal is a commitment for life.
The cats are very cute, too.
