I go every year to the Brookdale event.
It's not to miss! Always a blast. Bring blankets and your family to sit and enjoy the summer.
Little Falls is NOT in Essex County, by the way...
The Oskar Schindler Performing Arts Center, a wonderful outdoor venue in West Orange, has a busy July schedule. The Thursday night music series begins this week with a Montclair band, The Reticents, performing songs by, among others, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, and The Band. On July 9, jazz singer Kate Baker sings songs by Carole King, Joni Mitchell, and Carly Simon, accompanied by a quintet which includes Vic Juris, an outstanding guitar player. On July 16, John Dukich performs a tribute to Sinatra, accompanied by some great musicians, including Claudio Roditi on trumpet. There are also theater productions on the weekends.
