The concert and fireworks display scheduled for July 2 in Brookdale Park, which was canceled due to wet ground conditions, will be rescheduled, Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. said. Details are yet to be announced.

That is spectacular news!
Has anyone seen the great lawn at the south end of the park? Whoever was in charge of moving the equipment around for the cancelled fireworks tore the s***t out of the field. Five (?) years after a million dollar renovation, the field is almost back the way it was.
