Remembering Midge Bourne

Carolyn “Midge” Bourne, a long-time member and friend of the Glen Ridge Women’s Club and the first and only female mayor of Glen Ridge, has died. Baristanet sends our condolences to Bourne’s family and friends.

    Midge and I didn’t always agree, but she was a great lady and a straight-shooter. She loved our town and GR is a much better place because of her efforts.
    It is also a much sadder place this afternoon.
