This adorable Wheaton terrier, Sadie, has been missing from her Watchung Avenue home since about 5 pm Monday. If you find her, call Tabitha at 973.783.5809 or 973.809.4811.
UPDATE: After spending last night in the pound, Sadie has now been reunited with her owners.

I live just a block away, and just walked around the neighborhood to look for Sadie. Alas, no luck tonight. But my daughter and wife and I will be on the lookout tomorrow. We’ll do our best. Stay safe, Sadie!

    Sexy.
What a sweetie pie! I hope she gets back home soon. There are very few things in life more upsetting than a missing pet.

My dog got lost once when furniture delivery people left the gate propped open. Yet, despite the fact that he had tags with our info. (address and phone#)
He was brought to the pound (glad someone cared enough to get him to a safe place) BUT the pound (PAWS) did not call us! It was only after numerous calls to them that they finally figured out that they did indeed have our clearly labeled dog!
I wonder if the animal shelter called these people about their missing pooch or if they had to play detective as well?

Why did she have to spend the night in jail. Were the ACOs off the clock and didn’t want to wait for her human companions to pick he up?

Glad she’s back and was at least indoors instead of out in the rain last night – even if it was jail.
I was in the area when she first went missing and was trying to find her in the park nearby (I wonder where she was found). I believe the owner said that she didn’t have her collar on when she made her big escape, which probably complicated the search for both the owner and the ACOs.

I know when I worked at PAWS we made every attempt to reunite owners with their pets- we even would go back to shelter and open it or open early for people-
I personally always called people when we had their pets.
This shelter is so much better than PAWS- they put down animals left and right.. but at least they reuinted this family with their pet-

I’m glad Sadie had been found by the time I read this. I agree with Mellon that there are few things more upsetting in life than a missing pet.

I would love to see Santorum get the nod. Maybe then the politically comatose members of society will wake up.
