We're just warning you. It may not be the best idea to plan your Whole Foods West Orange shopping trip for 8 pm tomorrow night.
President Clinton stumps for Gov. Corzine Tuesday night, first at a $200-a-plate dinner at Mayfair Farms in West Orange, then at a rally at the United Food and Commercial Workers Union Hall in Little Falls. That's a straight shot down Prospect Avenue to Pompton Ave., which is often a traffic nightmare even without former presidents in limos.
There's room for 700 to 800 people in the union hall, 245 Paterson Ave., Little Falls, which opens at 7:30 pm Tuesday night for the first-come first-served event. More info at 973.279.4647.
President Obama is also coming back to New Jersey to rally the troops for Corzine. Next Sunday, he'll have an event in Camden and a rally at the Prudential Center. Details of those appearances are still forthcoming.

Invasion of the Democrats.
Where are the "stumpers" for Christie and Daggett?
Where are the "stumpers" for Christie and Daggett?
Ha ha ha. Like who? Ol' 22%? Cheney? Dancing with Indictments?
Sarah Palin could fly in for Christie! Except everyone here hates her, so that wouldn't work out too well for him.
"shhh" we must not prevent or hinder the Democratic Party in it's important work. Obama seems to be reinvigorating for conservatives what Bush couldn't sustain..
Hope and Change!
ROC, that poll comes out every year with basically the same result. Conservatives are a whole 2-points higher than they were when they were clobbered in 2006, and they're at the same level they were in 2000, when their guy needed the Supreme Court to win the White House. It says nothing about what election results in 2010 and 2012 will be.
But Drudge linked to it, so it must be news!
And speaking of Gallup:

It's hard to imagine that anyone who has lived here under Corzine for the past four years, and payed ever-increasing taxes for ever-declining services, would really be swayed by endorsements from anyone from out of state, no matter what their star power.
I am sure many people would be excited by the presence of Bill Clinton, and fewer would be excited to see Sarah Palin. (I'll buy a steak dinner for anyone who can produce someone with palpitations over Joe Biden.)
But can they really change any minds? Will they actually produce any votes?
Whoops, read that chart wrong. Conservatives are two points higher than in 2000 and three points more than in 2006. Looks like a GOP landslide is approaching!
Well, except for the fact that the GOP is in the toilet.

"Well, except for the fact that the GOP is in the toilet."
With that I agree. The party is a mess. Fractured. Leaderless. Rudderless. It's all a total mess. And yet, conservative self-identification is climbing.
Pretty all the Democrats had to do to stay in power for a long time is be a little bit competent and not turn into Socialists.
But they can't help themselves!
It's a glorious thing to see.
Carry on!

That's right ROC. conservative ? republican necessarily. Heck, the way the Republicans spent the last time around I don't think they would even admit they're true conservatives.
Pretty much all the Democrats had to do...
The way they spent was shameful Mike91. A 500 billion deficit is atrocious thank goodness Obama's is a more responsible 1.5 trillion.
So, ROC, call Dubya or Dan Quayle and tell them to reunite the party.
it's pretty hopeless at the moment Spiro. Our only hope is Obama and he seems well up to the task, I must say.
I agree Cheney was no angel. As an independent, I find that our Governor has NOT solved the problems of NJ. The fact that President Clinton and President Obama (I voted for both) need to come to NJ to convince the people of NJ to stay with a failed Governor is a waste of time and money. The facts remain we have the highest property taxes in the US and the Governor (who I voted for last election) failed to cut government spending and increased the number of State works which adds to the costs of doing the State's business. My pocket book will not allow me to vote for anyone candidate who out of the gate will raise taxes.
Mike91 if you can afford the tax increases the Governor continues to thrust on NJ can you give me some money so I can afford to stay in NJ?

If you want to cut taxes go to your BOE with a copy of the budget in hand and ask them to justify each expenditure.
I'd rather do it the other way Lasermike. Cut the budget and have the BOE "bring the budget in hand" to me (or my elected representatives) and justify every increase.
I'm just grateful it's Bill coming to NJ and not Hillary. Can't stand her.
"NO WIRE HANGERS!!!"
You mean THAT Hillary? :-)
Crap, looking forward to tomorrow night's commute. Why do the Democrats always manage to quadruple my commute time whenever they visit. It's almost enough to turn me Republican.
