Board the Art Bus on Oct 23rd and be guided through a tour of Montclair's many eclectic galleries, including Brassworks on Grove and the Essex Fine Arts Gallery on South Fullerton Ave. The gallery walk, organized by the Montclair Arts Council, is free or charge and there will be a chance to win prizes, including dinner for two at Richie Cecere's or tickets to MAM's Cezanne and American Modernism exhibition. To be eligible for the Gallery Walk Raffle, collect a sticker from at least five of the galleries you visit.
The bus tour's other stops include Gallery 51 and Gallery Loupe - both on Church St, the Jacklyn King Gallery, the MFEE/Laraja Gallery at MHS, Midland Gallery, Pat Gail Gallery, the George Segal Gallery at MSU and the Montclair Public Library's Art Gallery.
If the words 'free," "art bus," and "prizes," haven't won you over, several galleries will serve nibbles that evening, and many of the shops will stay open late.
Do note the Montclair Art Museum won't be open that evening, but free parking is available at its lot, from which the Art Bus departs. The tour runs from 6.00-9.00pm.
