It's been two years since art maverick Rupert Ravens opened his gallery at 85 Market Street in Newark. Every time I go there, I don't want to leave. Picture Macy's, or Harrods, but all art. Floor after floor of amazing, tantalizing, seductive, groundbreaking art by a carefully selected spectrum of artists. The new show is called Vessel, and features 24 solo projects. The opening night reception is this Friday, October 23rd, 8 p.m.- 11 p.m. with live music by Danny Petroni - Featuring Absolute Zero. Rupert Ravens Contemporary is part of the Newark Arts Council's Open Door Gallery Crawl.
