While I was taking a nap (and dodging all the last-minute calls telling me to vote for Corzine), three tips came in letting us know that there is a power failure in the south end of Bloomfield and Glen Ridge, asking if we know why and whether it'll be back on for tonight's World Series game.
We do not know the answer to either of these questions, but suspect it has something to do with making you feel even more miserable about the end of daylight saving's time. Cheer up, though. If your phone service is VoIP, you have missed about a dozen robo-calls.
Update us in the comments about when the power does come back.

Power was out 1 hr 9min. Tree guys were working on Hillside ave in Yards??? Now Public service truck is there 7:00pm ..... Hope no one was Hurt....Peaceful Hour though... or 5 Governor"s called today toooo hawwwnnnnn....
It was my yard, and a large limb was leaning on all the topline pseg lines, and I called PSEG, and they were here in about 20 mins,, then called their tree people who came quickly, in 10 mins, and they worked for about 5 hours to remove the limb,, power was on until about 5pm, when final movement of the limb caused the outage.. they worked for another hour to get power restored.
Tree wasn't from my yard, but all the debris that they had to cut to free the wires, is in my yard, and apparently my responsibility to remove,, they just free the wires. I'll send pictures if I figure out how!
