Word just in from the Glen Ridge Schools: High School Principal Ken Rota, who served as interim superintendent during last year's super search, is quitting midyear to take over as superintendent of East Rutherford Public Schools. No word yet on a replacement.
In addition to sternly patrolling the halls of Glen Ridge High School, Rota has worn a chef hat at Panera Bread to raise money for the schools and flew with Blue Angels during last year's Fleet Week.
