Saturday, November 21 MSU NCAA Division III playoffs. Montclair State University's football team captured the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) championship qualifying the Red Hawks for the NCAA Division III playoffs. Montclair State will face Maine Maritime Academy in the opening round. This NCAA playoff bid is the third consecutive postseason appearance for Montclair State football and its ninth overall. Montclair State's Sprague Field. Noon kickoff.

Fair Trade Holiday Sale - Peace & Justice Committee at First Congregational Church on S. Fullerton Ave. Saturday. Bnai Keshet will host t an interfaith Alternative Gift & Book Fair (combined with Fair Trade items) this Sunday.

The Saturday sale is also combined with our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. FCC is a main drop-off site for collecting frozen turkeys and non-perishable food for the NJ Community Food Bank. Don't be afraid to mention MHS, Annette.

It's a great school that, like most, has its (very) bad days.

And questionable leadership.

But as I've written here far too often, our graduates are among the best and brightest around.

Plus, they get the added benefit of saying, "yea, there were gang 'issues' in my high school", as they sit in a leafy quad at some elite College.

Not bad at all.
