Big Blues & Jazz Lineup At Cecil’s: Haitian Relief Concert

This Sunday, Feb. 28, legendary blues, R&B, and jazz musicians will be performing at Cecil’s Jazz Club, 2 pm until 2 am, to raise funds for Haitian earthquake victims.
Organizer Dean Shot, long-time West Orange resident and musician, says “I wanted to do something to help, but didn’t have a lot of money,” says Shot. But with lots of music contacts and his ability to organize, he’s made the benefit concert happen. “This is an amazing opportunity to see some of the world’s famous musicians gathered right here in Baristaville.” Excitement bubbled in Shot’s voice as he went down the list of performers, which are listed – after the jump.
What: Non-stop live jazz, R&B, Blues performances to benefit Haitian Relief
When: Sunday, February 28, 2010 2 pm – 2 am.
Where: Cecils Jazz Club, 364 Valley Rd. West Orange, NJ
Cost: $25 minimum donation at the door – 100% will benefit Doctors Without Borders, Yele.
