“Taken from the car was an E-Z pass, $800.00 costume jewelry, $600.00 make-up, and $2000.00 clothing.”
    Sure, sure it was.
I make it a point to keep the same amount of cash in my glove box as my insurance deductible, just in case, you know?

    I noticed the same thing.
My guess is that only the EZ-Pass transponder was stolen. Victim wants more than the $500 to replace the window or busted lock. Or more likely, the car was left unlocked.

Because WHO has $600 in make up and wears costume jewelry? I could only picture a drag act! Sorry…

Maybe it was taken from Sarah Palin’s car, along with a pair of gloves she had left behind.

I was merely going to wonder out loud who on earth has $600 worth of makeup in his or her car. Let alone $2000 worth of clothing (which I realize may just be one Ralph Lauren Purple Label suit).
Then I noted that someone had wheels and tires stolen from his/her back yard, and tools, and just to leave stuff like that out is outstandingly dumb. In such an instance, this is more understandable immediate gratification than outright theft, and were I on a geand jury when the alleged perp was brought up to us, I’d probably vote “no bill” as to an indictment.

I don’t keep anything of significant value in my internal combustion travel machines. Sometimes I’ll have a guitar worth several thousand dollars in the back seat while I grab a caffeine beverage at Barsucks(Valley Rd). I drive a Saturn Vue it’s silver and I usually leave it running in front of said purveyor on Friday nights around 7:20PM on my way to a weekly jam. Lately I’ve been leaving a Taylor GSKe back there. It’s worth about 4 grand.
    Hee hee!

Maybe it was Bobbie Brown’s car.

I had same reaction to the value of goods stolen. I don’t think my entire wardrobe is worth $2,000. But the person drives a 9 yr. old car?

I'm starting to see that our political strife on this planet and definitely here on B'net is due to a lack or abundance of Oxytocin. We can't help what we do or think, our bodies, dna, etc. are running the show. We are meat puppets to our hormonal & chemical urges. In the words of the immortal Bela Lugosi...."Pull dee string, pull dee string!" PAZ in Ed Wood land.
